Hi, I’m Julia!

I have a passion for people and their whole, complex lives. My greatest joy is in holding space and providing supportive thought partnership for others. Prior to starting my independent coaching and consulting practice, I spent 15 years in leadership development, program management, educator, facilitator, and director roles. My background is in design and psychology. I have experience and training (master’s level) in clinical mental health counseling. My work is informed by a deep understanding of psychology, neuroscience and cognition as they pertain to life and work. I provide support, thought partnership, and collaborative strategy development for challenges and goals pertaining to leadership and professional growth, as well as personal aspirations, identity, connection, relationships, and communication.

In my coaching practice, I support professional women living with ADHD and other neurodivergent identities, especially those diagnosed in adulthood. In addition, I have experience and special expertise working with:

  • New/emerging leaders as well as experienced leaders facing new challenges

  • Entrepreneurs

  • Designers, Architects, and Engineers

  • Helping Professionals in mental health, education (K-12 and higher ed), veterinary and human medical fields

  • Mid-career professionals looking to make changes in their career journeys and/or professional identities.

Having worked collaboratively in partnerships across many industries, I bring versatility, enthusiasm, creativity and empathetic thought partnership to my work as a coach. My career path has been rich and diverse. In addition to having earned degrees in design and psychology and a master’s in counseling, I’m also a certified coach through the Coach Training Alliance (ICF Accredited), a certified mental health first aid instructor, and currently pursuing ACC credentialing through ICF and CAPC credentialing through PAAC.

Though I support clients across the US and internationally through virtual sessions, my practice is based out of Raleigh, North Carolina where I live with my spouse, Kurt and our dog, Neighbor.
